Overview
The Job Status tab allow the user to quickly view the current status of a valuation request, as well as being able to update the current status of the job with any new updates.

Status Selections
The Status tab provides the user with a set of pre-configured status options, some of which perform and store additional data, while others simply update the Job Status button on the Job card.
Listed below are the pre-configured ValuePRO statuses and the actions that are triggered when selected:

1. Order Received
Meaning
Indicates that an order for a valuation request has been received.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Order Received, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set for the job if the instructions are registered by a Client via the Client Portal.
2. Order Confirmation E-Mail Sent
Meaning
Indicates that an order for a valuation request has been received and the confirmation email has been sent to the client.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Order Confirmation E-Mail Sent, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set for the job if a Client has submitted the valuation request via the Client Portal and a confirmation of the order has been sent via email.
3. Instructions Registered
Meaning
Indicates that instructions for a valuation request have been registered in the system.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Instructions Registered, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The Instructions Accepted email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set when a job is manually registered in ValuePRO by a user using the Add New Job wizard or if a Valex or VMS job has been processed into ValuePRO but not automatically accepted.
4. Quote Requested
Meaning
Indicates that the client has requested a quote for the valuation request registered in the system.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Quote Requested, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
If the Valex integration is enabled, this status will be set automatically when a new quote is requested from the Valex system.
5. Pending Acceptance of Quotation
Meaning
Indicates that a quote has been sent to the client for the valuation request registered in the system and that it is now awaiting approval from the client to proceed. Any jobs with this status appear in a Pending Acceptation of Quotation queue on the Work In Progress tab.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Pending Acceptance of Quotation, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set when:
- a quote request is manually registered in ValuePRO by a user via the Add New Job wizard and ticking the Quotation Only checkbox or;
- if a Client has requested a quotation via the Client Portal or;
- the Send Quote email template is sent from ValuePRO or;
- if the Valex integration is enabled, this status will be set automatically when a quote is returned to Valex and is awaiting a response.
6. Quotation Accepted by Client
Meaning
Indicates that a quote has been accepted by the client for the valuation request registered in the system.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Quotation Accepted by Client, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card.

7. Valuer Allocated
Meaning
Indicates that a Valuer has been allocated to the job.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Valuer Allocated, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. Although this status appears as selectable in the list, ValuePRO strongly recommends assigning a Valuer using the Inspection tab. When a Valuer is allocated on the Inspection tab, ValuePRO will automatically update the job status to Valuer Allocated.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set when:
- a job is manually registered in ValuePRO by a user using the Add New Job wizard and a Valuer was selected during the Add New Job wizard or;
- the Valuer Allocated email template or XML packet is sent from ValuePRO or;
- a selected Valuer is assigned to a job via either the Job card or the Inspection tab or;
- if a Valex or VMS job has been processed into ValuePRO and a Valuer was automatically assigned based on coverage areas.
8. Difficulties Obtaining Access
Meaning
Indicates that staff are currently unable to book an appropriate inspection time for the job.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Difficulties Obtaining Access, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card.

9. On Hold
Meaning
Indicates that the job has been put on hold.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read On Hold, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The Job On Hold email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
If the Valex integration is enabled, this status will be set automatically when a job is received in Pre-Valuation status from the Valex system.
10. Inspection Appointment Made
Meaning
Indicates that an inspection appointment date and time has been setup for the job.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Inspection Appointment Made, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. Although this status appears as selectable in the list, ValuePRO strongly recommends setting up inspection appointments using the Inspection tab. When an inspection is setup on the Inspection tab, ValuePRO will automatically update the job status to Inspection Appointment Made.

This status is automatically set when a inspection is made for the job via the Inspection tab or via the Job card.
11. Inspection Contact Status
Meaning
This status is specifically designed to be used with the Valex integration. It indicates that a user has attempted to get in touch with the contact for access to arrange an inspection but was unsuccessful.

Updates the job status text to read Inspection Contact Status, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card.

12. Inspection Appointment Delayed
Meaning
Indicates that the job has been delayed.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Inspection Appointment Delayed, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. Although this status appears as selectable in the list, ValuePRO strongly recommends adding delays using the Inspection tab. When a delay is added on the Inspection tab, ValuePRO will automatically update the job status to Inspection Appointment Delayed.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set when a delay is added for the job via the Inspection tab or via the Job card.
13. Inspection Completed
Meaning
Indicates that the inspection on the property has been completed by the Valuer.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Inspection Completed, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The status change will also place the current date into the ValuationDate field, if no value is currently present, then the Inspection Completed email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.
If the Valex integration is enabled, the user will be presented with the Inspection Completed XML packet to send back to Valex instead of the email template.

14. In Typing
Meaning
Indicates that the job is currently in typing.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read In Typing, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The In Typing email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.

15. Typing Completed
Meaning
Indicates that the typing has been completed on the job.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Typing Completed, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The status change will also place the current date into the TypingCompleted field, if no value is currently present.
If this job has previously failed QA and required corrections, this status change will also remove any values from the ReasonForApprovalRejection and ApprovalRejected fields.
The Typing Completed email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status

16. Valuer Report Completed
Meaning
Indicates that the Valuer has completed their portion of the work on the job and is now ready to be reviewed for approval, if required.
Manually Trigger Status Action
If the Valuer Report Completed status is selected and the user clicks the Change Status button, before the status is changed, ValuePRO will first check if the client associated with the job has the Check Before Status Change (IsSpecialCheck) checkbox on the Client Card turned on.
If the checkbox is turned on, before proceeding with the status update action below, the user will receive the following alert:
Please be aware that this job may be sent to Valex compliance so ensure that the commentary is sufficient and check the sales evidence meets the lenders requirements. I confirm that the commentary is sufficient and the sales evidence meets the lenders requirements.
The user can either click the Cancel button (2) to cancel the status update and continue working on the job or click the OK button (1) to proceed with the status update and have a note added to the job history that they read the message and comply.
However, if the checkbox is turned off, ValuePRO will proceed with the status update action below.
Once the status update is ok to proceed, ValuePRO updates the job status text to read Valuer Report Completed, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The status change will also place the current date into the Completed field, if no value is currently present.
If this job has previously failed QA and required corrections, this status change will also remove any values from the ReasonForApprovalRejection and ApprovalRejected fields.
The Valuer Report Completed email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set when a date is added to the Completed field via the Job card and the job is saved.
17. Corrections Required
Meaning
Indicates that corrections are required for the job.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Corrections Required, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is also automatically set for the job if the Review and Approve page is used to reject jobs. If a job is rejected on this page, the job status is set to Corrections Required.
18. Report Approved for Release
Meaning
Indicates that the job has been completed and approved by a user with appropriate authorisation to be released to the client. This status generally locks the job and prevents Valuer or Admin users from editing the job further.
Manually Trigger Status Action
If the Report Approved for Release status is selected and the user clicks the Change Status button, before the status is changed, ValuePRO will first check if the client associated with the job has the Check Before Status Change (IsSpecialCheck) checkbox on the Client Card turned on.
If the checkbox is turned on, before proceeding with the status update action below, the user will receive the following alert:

Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set when:
- a job is approved on the Review and Approve page or;
- a date is added to the Approved field via the Job card and the job is saved.
19. Report Sent to Client
Meaning
Indicates that the report has been completed, approved and sent to the client. This status generally locks the job and prevents Valuer or Admin users from editing the job further.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Report Sent to Client, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The status change will also place the current date into the Approved, Completed and DateOut fields, if no value is currently present.
If this job has previously failed QA and required corrections, this status change will also remove any values from the ReasonForApprovalRejection and ApprovalRejected fields.
The Report Approved for Release email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set when:
- a job is approved on the Review and Approve page and the Set Date Out When Approving from Review and Approve setting is turned on or;
- if the user sends either the Report Approved for Release or Send Report email templates from ValuePRO.
20. Client Requests Report Changes
Meaning
Indicates that the approved report requires changed requested by the client and the job was unlocked.
Manually Trigger Status Action
When the Client Requests Report Changes option is selected, the Client Requests the following changes (ClientRequestedChanges) field is immediately presented to the user to enter the changes requested.
Once the Change Status button is clicked, the job status text to is updated read Client Requests Report Changes, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The status change will also remove any existing dates from the Completed and Approved fields to unlock the job and update the ClientRequestedChanges field with the changes requested entered into the text field.
The Client Requests Report Changes email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.

21. Job Invoiced, Awaiting Payment
Meaning
Indicates that the job has been invoiced and is awaiting payment from the client. This status could be used either after a report has been submitted to the client or if prepayment is required for a report.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Job Invoiced, Awaiting Payment, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card.
If the Job Fee (Fee) field doesn't contain a fee value for some reason, the user will receive the following alert:
Please ensure a correct fee has been entered. No fee has been entered for this job.
A note will also be added to the Job history to indicate the lack of fee value at the status change.
If the Job does not have a date value in the ValuationDate field and the Job Invoiced Awaiting Payment status always updates Valuation Date setting is turned on, the current date will be placed into the ValuationDate field and a note will be added to the Job history to indicate that the job was updated with the missing valuation date.
If the Job Invoiced Awaiting Payment status always updates Completed date setting is turned on, the current date will be placed into the Completed, DateOut and DateInvoiced fields, however if the Client assigned to the job is setup as requiring prepayment, the Completed and DateOut fields are not updated and the DateInvoiced field is only updated if the Job Invoiced Awaiting Payment status always updates Invoice date setting is turned off.

This status is automatically set when:
- a job is marked as invoiced via the To Be Paid page or;
- an invoice is generated, included as an attachment and sent from ValuePRO using either the Report Approved for Release, Send Report or Job Invoiced email templates or;
- a job is marked as invoiced via the Invoices tab on the Client card.
22. Job Invoiced, Payment Overdue
Meaning
Indicates that the job has been invoiced and the payment is now overdue. This status could be used either after a report has been submitted to the client or if prepayment is required for a report.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Job Invoice, Payment Overdue, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The Payment Overdue - Reminder email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.

23. Job Payment Received
Meaning
Indicates that the payment has been received for the job.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Job Payment Recieved, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The status change will also place the current date into the DatePaid and DateInvoiced fields, if no value is currently present in either field.
If the DateInvoiced field is updated, a note will be added to the Job history to indicate that the field was automatically updated on status change.
The Payment Received email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
None.
24. Job Cancelled
Meaning
Indicates that the job has been cancelled.
Manually Trigger Status Action
When the Job Cancelled option is selected, the Reason for Cancellation (CancellationReason) field is immediately presented to the user to enter the reason for the cancellation of the job.
Once the Change Status button is clicked, the job status text to is updated read Job Cancelled, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The status change will also place the current date into the DateCancelled field, if no value is currently present and update the CancellationReason field with the changes requested entered into the text field.
A note will be added to the Job history to indicate that the job was cancelled and the reason why.
The Job Cancelled email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set when a date is added to the DateCancelled field and saved via the Job card.
25. Job Closed and Archived
Meaning
Indicates that all actions for the job have been performed and it is not closed and archived.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Job Closed and Archived, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The status change will also place the current date into the DatePaid and DateInvoiced fields, if no value is currently present in either field.
If the DateInvoiced field is updated, a note will be added to the Job history to indicate that the field was automatically updated on status change.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set when:
- a job is marked as paid via the To Be Paid page or;
- a job is marked as paid via the Payments or Invoices tab on the Client card.
26. Instructions Declined
Meaning
Indicates that the job has been declined immediately after receiving the valuation instructions and has been cancelled.
Manually Trigger Status Action
When the Instructions Declined option is selected, the Reason for Declining (ReasonForDeclining) field is immediately presented to the user to enter the reason for declining the job.
Once the Change Status button is clicked, the job status text to is updated read Instructions Declined, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The status change will also place the current date into the DateCancelled field, if no value is currently present and update the ReasonForDeclining field with the changes requested entered into the text field. If there are any date values in the Completed and Approved fields, the values will be removed.
A note will be added to the Job history to indicate that the job was declined and the reason why, if entered.
The Instructions Declined email template will also be generated and displayed to the user to send.
Actions That Automatically Trigger This Status
This status is automatically set for the job if the instructions are declined on the last step of the Add New Job wizard.
27. Quote Request Declined
Meaning
Indicates that the requested quote has been declined after receiving the valuation quote instructions and the job has been cancelled.
Manually Trigger Status Action
Updates the job status text to read Quote Request Declined, along with the text on the Job Status button on the job card. The status change will also place the current date into the DateCancelled field, if no value is currently present and if there are any date values in the Completed and Approved fields, the values will be removed.
A note will be added to the Job history to indicate that the quote request was declined.

Status Security & Pre-Authorisation Limits
The Job Status window has default security built around each status selection that can be customised for each individual ValuePRO system.
Depending on the user type and their pre-authorisation limits (for Valuer user types only), each user will only have access to status selections that are suitable for their user type.
Valuers with a pre-authorisation limit imposed on their account will see a different set of status selections available to a user without a pre-authorisation limit imposed. Pre-authorisation limit values are setup on the Valuers Card.
Master User
Users with Master user access will have access to all the status selections listed above.
Admin User
Users with Admin user access will see all the status selections, however they will have access only to status selections that are related to administration tasks for the job. These include:
Valuer User
User with Valuer user access and without a pre-authorisation limit will see all the status selections, however they will have access only to certain status. These include:
- Instructions Registered
- Quote Requested
- Difficulties Obtaining Access
- Inspection Appointment Made
- Inspection Contact Status
- Inspection Appointment Delayed
- Inspection Completed
- In Typing
- Typing Completed
- Valuer Report Completed
- Client Requests Report Changes

* If the Pre-Authorisation Limit feature is not setup in ValuePRO, all Valuers will have access to this status and will be able to approve their own reports for release. If, however, the Pre-Authorisation Limit feature is setup in ValuePRO, Valuers will only have access to this status to approve their own reports for release if the highest value of the fields included in the pre-authorisation check (fields that have the Include in Pre-Authorisation Limit Checks checkbox ticked (1)) is under the value setup in the Pre-Authorisation Limit field on the Valuers card (2).
Buttons
This section explains the functions for the buttons available on the Job Status window.
Change Status
Clicking the Change Status button will update the job with the status selected and, depending on the status selected, will trigger actions described in the Manually Trigger Status Action section of each status mentioned above.
