The iOS ValuePRO Mobile application allows the user to do a full Sales Comparison while on site during inspection.
When the iPad or iPhone is synced, Sales that are appropriate for the subject property are automatically downloaded by ValuePRO ready for analysis.
The Sales that are relevant to the current Job are displayed when the user Taps on the Sales Tab.
The Sales Tab has 4 sections, the Current Sales Filter, Details of the Current Job, List of Sales and a
toolbar.
Tapping on the Filter button will display the Sales Filter.
Tapping on the Folded Map Icon will display the Sales Map.
Tapping on the Order Sales Icon will display the Sales order picker.
Tapping on the “Plus” Icon will display the Add New Sale Tab.
Search Sales
The Sales Tab has 2 modes, Search Sales and Selected Sales.To switch between the two modes tap the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
In “Search Sales” mode you may search through to find Sales that are comparable to the Subject Job.
Tapping anywhere on a Sale will mark the Sale as comparable.
If the Sale is already selected, then tapping on the Tick Box will remove the comparable indicator and also delete any Data that relates to the comparison between the Sales and the subject job.
Tapping on the “Info” button will display the details of the Selected sale.
When the sales are ordered by suburb, the Sales are grouped by suburb with the suburb name visible above the list of suburbs. The letter shortcuts on the right hand side of the screen allow the user to quickly scroll to a different suburb.
Selected Sales
In Selected Sales mode the Sales Tab displays just the Sales that the User has marked as comparable.
The Selected Sales are grouped by Sale Type.
Tapping on the “Info” button will display the details of the Selected sale.
Note that the Sales Filter settings are not applied when viewing the Selected Sales.
Changing the order of the Sales
The Sales can be ordered in one of the following orders
-
Suburb
- Date
- Price
- Distance
Sales Filter
When the Sales Tab is in Search mode, the sales are filtered according to the Sales Filter details.
It is possible to filter by any fields on the Sales table. The default tabs that appear in the
.the following, Suburbs, Date, Price, Distance, Date & Bedrooms.
Tapping on the Done button will apply the filter and close the filter screen.
Tapping on the Red delete button will clear the current filter.
Filter By Suburb
When the filter by suburb is selected it is possible to select “All Suburbs” or select multiple suburbs.
Filter By Date
When the filter by date is selected, you may select all dates or one of the predefined date intervals. The number of Sales for each interval is displayed on the right hand side for each interval.
Filter by Price
When displaying the Filter by Price, you may enter either

Price Range
-
Price Percentage
If a price Range is entered is will override any Price Percentage selected.
The price range is compared to the Customer Estimated Market Value for the Job.(Though this may be configured to be compared against other Values for the Job)
Filter by Distance
When the filter by distance is selected, you may select all distances or one of the predefined distance intervals. The number of Sales for each interval is displayed on the right hand side for each interval.
Filter by Bedroom
When the filter by bedrooms is selected, you may select “Unknown no of Bedrooms" or one of the predefined number of bedrooms.
Default Sales Filter
The defaults for the Sales filter are controlled by the following settings
Restrict Sales suburbs, restricts the suburbs that are shown in the suburb filter to the distance specified. This allows the user to restrict the list of suburbs to suburbs close to the job being edited.
The Defaults are used as the Default filter options used when the user first displays the Sales Filter for a Job.
Note that changing to a different tab and then back to the Sales tab retains the last filter used.
Customising the Sales Filter
To add extra fields to the sales filter tap on the “Other Fields” button.
This will display a list of fields from the Sales Table that have been selected. Tapping on a field will display the filter options available for that field.

Selecting Extra Fields
In this mode, tapping on a field will add it to the list of available fields to filter the Sales by.
All fields that have been selected will be marked by a tick.
Tapping on Selected fields will display the fields that have been selected.
Display available fields
In this mode, a list of the fields that are available to be used to filter the Sales are displayed.
Tapping on a field will display the filter for the field that is tapped.
There are 2 types of fields:
Numeric
If the field is a number field, you may enter a value and compare the Sales with this value. The comparison may be either Equals, Greater Than or Equal or Less than or Equal to the value entered.
If you select to compare to a range, then you may enter 2 values, a lower & upper value.
The sales will be compared the lower & upper values entered.
Character
If the field is a character, then you may compare the Sale field with the entered value.
The Sale field comparison may be either “Equals”, in which case the values must match exactly. If the Like comparison option is selected then the value entered must appear somewhere within the Sale Field.
Character Field with Lookup
If the Sale field is setup as a single select then the list of possible values is displayed.
Tapping an entry in the list will populate the field with the value selected. If multiple entries are selected then the Sale field is compared against all of the selected values and if any match then the Sale will pass the filter test.
