Customise Display Tab

Overview

The Customise Display tab is only visible for Master User user accounts and allow the Master User to control the fields that are displayed and the field/column order in the Search Results List View section of the Basic Search tab.

The view displayed on this tab is controlled by the option selected in the Show select list in the top right hand corner of the tab.

By default, the Customise Display tab loads with the All Fields View.

All Fields View

If the All Fields option is selected in the Show select list, the Customise Display page will display a list of all the fields in the Valuations table.

Three columns of data will be displayed in the list:

  1. Field Name - The name of the field as plain text;
  2. Show In Results - A checkbox to indicate if the field is ticked or un-ticked to show in the Basic Search results view;
  3. Display Order - If the Show In Results checkbox is ticked, a text box will be visible in this column to enter a display order. If the checkbox is un-ticked, the column would be blank.

Clicking on any row in the list will open the Field Card for the field.

Select Fields View

If the Selected Fields Only option is selected in the Show select list, the Customise Display page will only display a list of the fields in the Valuations table that have a tick in the Show In Results checkbox.

This view also shows an additional Order By select list to allow the user to either sort the list of fields by Field Name or by Display Order.

Three columns of data will be displayed in the list:

  1. Field Name - The name of the field as plain text;
  2. Show In Results - A ticked checkbox to indicate that the field is to be shown in the Basic Search results view;
  3. Display Order - Shows a text box for a display order to be entered. This display order will be used to determine how the fields are displayed on the Search Results section.

Clicking on any row in the list will open the Field Card for the field.

Save Changes Button

Clicking the Save Changes button will save any changes made to the Show In Results checkbox and the Display Order text field for each field in the list.
