Calendar Tab

Overview

The Calendar tab is usually only visible for user accounts with Master and Admin account status enabled, however the menu and tab security in each ValuePRO application can be modified and this tab could be made available to accounts with Valuer account status.

This page is used mainly by Admin users who contact clients and setup inspection appointments for the Valuer. This page allows them to ensure that the appointments they setup for the Valuer do not overlap and that the Valuer has ample amount of time to make it from one appointment to the next. 

Views

The two main views available for use on this page are:

  1. List view and;
  2. Map view 


1. List View

The list view is similar to the My Current Jobs and Work In Progress pages where the jobs are listed on the screen and grouped by Valuer. When a Valuer's list is expanded, their list of jobs can be reviewed and an appointment can be setup if required.

Depending on the status/due date and time of the job, the text of the job item in the list may be colour coded. The colours that are used on this page can be controlled using three settings:

  • Job Due Today Color - The default colour for this setting is blue. This colour is applied to a job in the list if the inspection for the job is due today;
  • Job Overdue Color - The default colour for this setting is red. This colour is applied to a job in the list if the inspection for the job is past due;
  • Job Unprocessed Color - The default color for this setting is green. This colour is applied to a job in the list if the job has not had an inspection appointment setup yet.

The columns in the list view are also setup to trigger different functions which are outlined below:

  • Job Number column - Clicking on the Job Number column will trigger the Job card to open. From here, the job details can be edited.
  • All Other columns - Clicking on any other column apart from the Job Number column in the list will trigger the Inspection window to open. From here, the inspection details for the job can be entered.

2. Map View

The map view of the Calendar page displays a large map with properties that have inspections setup plotted on the map.

Users can use the page filter to determine which properties are plotted on this map by selecting a specific date and/or a Valuer.

1. Expand All button

This button is only visible when the Calendar is in List view mode. Clicking on this button will expand all the list views on this page.

Page Filters

The Calendar page has a selection of filters available to allow jobs to be filtered and sorted on the page, making it easier to find a job in the list. Depending on the view selected, the filters that appear may be different.

List View Filters

The filters available on this view are:

  1. Order By filter - this groups the jobs displayed on this page by either Valuer Name or Client Name;
  2. Company filter - this filter is used to show jobs for all companies, one particular company or any jobs not allocated to a company. This filter only appears if the Show Company Selection Field on Work In Progress setting is turned on;
  3. Office filter - this filter is used to show jobs for all offices, one particular office or any jobs not allocated to an office. This is especially useful for users who work from two different offices. This filter only appears if the Show Office Selection Field on Work In Progress setting is turned on;
  4. Job Status filter - this filter is used to show jobs with all job statuses or jobs with a particular job status. This is useful for users who may want to see a list of all jobs where the job status is Valuer Allocated (new jobs assigned to a user) or Inspection Appointment Made (jobs which have an inspection date and time setup);
  5. Inspection Status filter - this filter is used to show all jobs, jobs that have not yet been booked, jobs that have been booked and jobs that have been delayed.
  6. Job Type filter - this filter is used to show jobs with all job types or jobs of a particular job type only. This filter only appears if the Show Data Entry Template Filter on Current Jobs setting is turned on;
  7. Job State filter - this filter is used to show jobs for all states or jobs allocated to just one particular state. This is especially useful for users that work across two states. This filter only appears if the Show State Filter on Current Jobs setting is turned on;
  8. Sort By filter - this filter is used to sort the jobs displayed on the page. The sort by options available are Days Remaining, Days Elapsed, Inspection Date, Suburb, Client Name and Valuer. These options can be sorted in either ascending or descending order.
  9. Show As filter - this allows you to change the view of the page to show the jobs in either List view or plotted on a Map view.

Map View Filters

The filters available on this view are:

  1. Order By filter - this groups the jobs displayed on this page by either Valuer Name or Client Name;
  2. Select Valuer filter - this shows the jobs specifically allocated to the Valuer selected in this filter;
  3. Company filter - this filter is used to show jobs for all companies, one particular company or any jobs not allocated to a company. This filter only appears if the Show Company Selection Field on Work In Progress setting is turned on;
  4. Office filter - this filter is used to show jobs for all offices, one particular office or any jobs not allocated to an office. This is especially useful for users who work from two different offices. This filter only appears if the Show Office Selection Field on Work In Progress setting is turned on;
  5. Job Status filter - this filter is used to show jobs with all job statuses or jobs with a particular job status. This is useful for users who may want to see a list of all jobs where the job status is Valuer Allocated (new jobs assigned to a user) or Inspection Appointment Made (jobs which have an inspection date and time setup);
  6. Job Type filter - this filter is used to show jobs with all job types or jobs of a particular job type only. This filter only appears if the Show Data Entry Template Filter on Current Jobs setting is turned on;
  7. Job State filter - this filter is used to show jobs for all states or jobs allocated to just one particular state. This is especially useful for users that work across two states. This filter only appears if the Show State Filter on Current Jobs setting is turned on;
  8. Current Date filter - this filter is used to show appointments for a specific date. When used in conjunction with the Select Valuer filter, it can be used to suggest a route for the inspections of a specific Valuer on a specific date.
  9. Show As filter - this allows you to change the view of the page to show the jobs in either List view or plotted on a Map view.
