Data integration is available using the ValuePRO DataLINK feature within the application. The DataLINK feature provides the ability to connect to a third-party data provider. This allows your ValuePRO application to obtain up-to-date property and sales details, maps and photos for use in reports.
Requirements of RP Data Integration
Use of RP Data with ValuePRO DataLINK requires an active RP Data(Corelogic) account. Please contact Corelogic directly for signing up if you have not done so yet.
How It Works
The ValuePRO DataLINK integration with RP Data is almost completely automated, so after adding your company's RP Data account credentials, there are few additional steps required for day-to-day use.
New Valuations
When creating a new valuation, you will see the following additional Auto Research options:
- Check for New Sales Data (default) and;
- Use AVM to Calculate Draft Valuation
The default option will request sales data from RP Data to download into ValuePRO.
Continue the job registration process as usual. ValuePRO will request relevant data from the property on RP Data. When you open the job card for the first time, you will see a progress bar and ValuePRO will begin the download of relevant data from RP Data into the job card.
In some cases, if the property cannot be accurately identified from the address and RP Data will find multiple matches. This is common in the case of duplexes, units, etc.
When this happens, you can either:
- If the actual property isn't listed or your simply don't want to import data for this valuation, select No Match or;
- Select a property from the list and click the Next button.
When this is done, you will be redirected to the job card where RP Data data (if available and downloaded) will be available on this property's sales data and you can continue working as usual.
Existing Valuations
If you have an existing job that has already been created in ValuePRO, you can still update this job with data from RP Data.
To do this, simply open the job card, go to the Documents tab and click the Download Data button. If you have unsaved changes pending, you will be prompted to save them, then the progress meter will display while data is being downloaded from RP Data.
If multiple properties are found, you will be prompted to either select a matching property or choose not to import data for this valuation, then click the Next button.
Once completed, the job card will reopen at the Details/Instructions tab.
New Sales
New sales will be automatically downloaded from RP Data. The sales downloaded will be based on RP Data's recommendations for comparable sales when new jobs are created.
Existing Sales
Open the sale card into which you are to import data, go to the Documents tab and click the Download Data button. If you have unsaved changes pending, you will be prompted to save them, then the progress meter will display while data is being downloaded from RP Data.
If multiple properties are found, you will be prompted to either select a matching property or choose not to import data for this sale, then click the Next button.
Once completed, the sale card will reopen at the Details tab. You will find that the own and LGA details would have been imported along with photos for the property and a Growth and Box Chart, if available.
