VMS Integration

The VMS integration allows your ValuePRO application to communicate with your VMS account. This establishes a bi-directional capable link between VMS and ValuePRO, allowing VMS to send ValuePRO new valuation requests and updates to existing valuation jobs and in turn, allows ValuePRO to send workflow updates for valuation jobs and completed valuation requests back to VMS.

Requirements of VMS Integration

You must have an existing ValuePRO application with VMS integration setup and a valid panel account in the VMS system before proceeding. If you do not have a panel account in the VMS system, you will need to contact VMS directly to begin the processing of becoming a panel member.

Once you account has been setup in the VMS system, we can begin the process of connecting to the VMS web services, however before VMS will allow us to proceed, they require an NDA document and a Web Service Access Request document to be filled and signed. ValuePRO will provide you with these documents, which you can then review and sign, then return to ValuePRO Support and we will pass these documents on to VMS with all the technical details required to complete the VMS integration in ValuePRO.

 

How It Works

The diagram below shows the main workflow of receiving and completing a VMS job within ValuePRO, as well as some optional functions that are available through the VMS integration. These steps are covered in more detail in the ValuePRO internal user guide.
