WORD - Merge photos

This article will teach you how to merge photos from a job to a Report Template.

 

Prerequisites

Merge DET fields to an RT

Edit MergeFields in Microsoft Word

List of Photos MergeFields

 

Step 1

Insert the MergeField TableStart:X where:

Step 2

Insert the MergeField Image:PhotoIDX,Y,Z after the MergeField inserted in Step 1, where:

  • X is the number of the first image to start printing at. Leave at 1 to begin printing from the first image.
  • Y is the width the image will be resized to.
  • Z is the height the image will be resized to.

Note: All parameters are optional but make sure the commas are present.

Step 3 (Optional)

Insert the MergeField Title to merge the title of the photo to the Report Template. The number following Title should match the number of the image from Step 2.

Step 4

Finish off by inserting the MergeField TableEnd:X where:

  • X is the same MergeField used in Step 1.
