Sending the iPad Database to ValuePRO
Occasionally the support team may request the user to send a copy of your database file to ValuePRO, this may be done by tapping on “Email DB”.
You will be prompted with a Waring message indicating the whole Database will be sent to ValuePRO Support.
If the use Apple Mail switch is set to on, then a standard Apple new email composition screen will be displayed with the database send as an attachment.
Tapping send will send the database to the default valuepro Support email address. The mail sent will appear in the Apple Mail program as a normal email in your sent folder.
If the use Apple Mail switch is set to off, then the program will attempt to send an email using a built in internal email function. The built in function uses the SMTP settings to send the email to valuepro.com.au.
Sending the iPad Log File to ValuePRO
Occasionally ValuePRO support may ask you to send your log file from the iPad.
The log file contains information that will help the support team diagnose and problems the user in encountering.
This option works in the same way as sending the Database (see above)

Sending the iPad Log File to ValuePRO from iTunes
Note, if the log file is too large to send then it may be extracted from the iPad using iTunes and sent directly from your computer.
Open iTunes on your computer.
Attach the iPad via a USB cable.
When it appears, click on the iPad in the Device List.
Tap on the Apps section in the Left Hand Section of the Window and scroll up until you see the File Sharing section in the right hand side of the window as shown below.
Tap on the ValuePRO app to display the ValuePRO Documents on the right hand side of the window.
Select the ValuePRO.log file.
Once selected the “Save To” option will then be enabled. (you may need to scroll the documents window to see the "Save To" button.
Tapping on save will allow the log file to be saved to the attached computer.
The log file can then be sent in a normal email to support@valuepro.com.au.
